Thank you for choosing Elements Compounding Pharmacy, LLC (“Elements,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Shipping & Returns Policy (“Policy”) explains how we handle orders, shipping, and returns for prescription items dispensed for patients through our prescriber portal (ElementsRx.net) or other authorized channels. By submitting a prescription or placing an order, you agree to this Policy.
If you have additional questions, please refer to our FAQ or contact us directly.
Service Area + Licensing
Licensed States
We currently ship prescription medications to the states in which we hold valid pharmacy licenses–Arizona, Nevada, and Illinois. Orders to states where we do not currently hold licenses may be declined or delayed.
Prescription Validation
All prescription medications require a valid prescription from a licensed provider. We verify prescriptions and addresses before shipping.
General Shipping Guidelines
Carriers + Methods
We typically use USPS, FedEx, UPS, or another reputable carrier. The choice of carrier may depend on:
- The medication’s requirements, including temperature sensitivity
- The patient’s location
- Delivery speed preferences
Shipping Rates + Promotions
We may offer free or discounted standard shipping, expedited options, local delivery, cold-chain packaging, or other shipping services depending on the medication and patient circumstances.
For up-to-date shipping fees, promotions, and eligibility requirements, refer to our FAQ or contact us.
Controlled Substances
Shipping Address Restrictions
Controlled substances can only be shipped to the patient address as indicated on the valid prescription. They cannot be redirected to alternate addresses or held for pickup at a different location.
Temperature-Sensitive Medications
Cold Chain + Heat Exposure
Temperature-sensitive products may be shipped with insulated packaging or cold packs as needed. Once a package is marked as delivered, it is the patient’s or recipient’s responsibility to retrieve it promptly. Prolonged exposure to extreme heat or cold can compromise medication quality.
Returns + Refunds
Prescription Medications
Due to federal and state regulations, prescription medications — including compounded products — are generally not returnable or refundable once shipped. Compounded medications are customized and cannot be restocked or resold.
Cancellations + Order Changes
If you need to cancel or modify an order, contact us immediately. Once a prescription is compounded or shipped, cancellations are generally not possible.
Delivery Issues + Risk of Loss
Delivery times depend on carriers, weather, and other factors beyond our control. Once a package is marked delivered by the carrier, risk of loss transfers to the recipient. Some orders may require signature upon delivery.
Policy Updates
We may update this Policy at any time. The Effective Date reflects the most recent revisions.
